Dental Veneers

Used to recreate the natural look of teeth, our St. Petersburg dental veneers are ultra-thin shells of porcelain that are customized to the shape and color of your natural teeth. They are then bonded to the front of teeth to correct crooked, misshapen, unevenly sized, discolored and stained, or chipped teeth. They can also be used to fill gaps or spaces.

Dental veneers are usually completed in just two appointments at our St. Petersburg office. On the first visit, to prepare the teeth, we gently buff and shape them to make room for the veneers. We create an impression of your teeth and assist you in selecting the appropriate color. 

During the second visit, because the bond between the original tooth and porcelain veneer is critical, we clean your teeth with a special liquid that facilitates a strong bond, and bond the teeth and veneers with cement. A special curing light hardens the bonding material.

While they are quite durable, veneers are not permanent and may need replacement. To preserve the life of your St. Petersburg dental veneers, we provide you with home care instructions and recommend you visit our office every six months for a professional cleaning and checkup.
